Network Support Engineer

Verita HR is an international company providing recruitment support within Fintech, Finance and Banking market in EMEA. The role supports network and call center infrastructure across 55 countries for a lead international bank.

• Good understanding of Data Networks Topologies and protocols
• Experience working to ITIL and Agile standards/frameworks
• Drive to improve the services provided to the business
• Ability to collaborate at all levels
• Willingness and ability to learn new telecoms technologies and supporting tools

• Support global telecom incidents and contribute to their resolution
• Work as part of a global NOC team
• Monitor infrastructure, raise vendor tickets and support service recovery
• Collaborate with incident managers and other teams, providing input on data centre incidents
• Work in a global “follow the sun” model, including shifts and weekends
• Restore IT systems and support services according to agreed service levels and incident processes
• Help reduce outages and recurring infrastructure issues
• Work with service providers to meet contractual obligations and drive continuous improvement
• Lead and coordinate incident response when service-impacting issues occur
• Support platform engineers and ensure the right people are involved in crisis calls
• Manage communication flow and maintain clear governance during incidents
• Look for ways to improve services and processes using data analysis to identify issues earlier and prevent outages
• Provide valuable inputs in process improvement
• Collaborate at all levels as a good team player
• Willingness and ability to learn new telecoms technologies and supporting tools

Role requires working shifts including weekends and hybrid work with 6 days per month from the office in Cracow.
