Solution Architect (K/M/X)

Grupa E.ON is a leading European energy company operating in Poland in electricity and gas sales, network infrastructure, and renewable energy. E.ON Polska IT Support is responsible for IT support and process management for operational companies within the group.

• Higher education, preferably in IT or related fields
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an architect, Tech Lead, or similar role; experience as a programmer (.Net or Java) is desirable but not mandatory
• Experience designing architecture for projects involving multiple applications
• Practical knowledge of system integration patterns and technologies (SOAP, REST API, Message Queuing, GraphQL)
• Knowledge of IT technologies (operating systems, middleware, databases, etc.)
• Experience designing solutions based on public cloud platforms – preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Knowledge of IT system security
• Experience in solution modeling and familiarity with any modeling tool (e.g., Sparx Enterprise Architect)
• Ability to present solution concepts and conduct meetings at technical and business levels
• Independence and ability to organize own work and collaborate with Business and IT roles
• Interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and compromise-building abilities
• English language proficiency (minimum B2)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, microservices architecture, microfrontends, Event-Driven Architecture
• Experience with Salesforce or SAP projects
• Experience implementing GitOps (including CI/CD, IaC such as Terraform or Crossplane), and containerization
• Knowledge of OAUTH2/OIDC
• Knowledge of Observability concepts
• Experience with Event Storming workshops or other lightweight approaches
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts

• Develop solution concepts for projects and business initiatives and oversee their architectural implementation
• Provide substantive and technical support to IT teams responsible for system implementation and maintenance
• Provide substantive and technical support to the Business side
• Participate in technology evaluation and selection
• Co-create short- and long-term standards and directions for architecture and technology development
• Collaborate with external IT service providers and E.ON Group teams in Europe
