Data Scientist

P&G Scaled Data Science Hub in Warsaw is dynamically growing and impacts key algorithmic investments across Retail, Media, Digital commerce, R&D, Supply Chain, Productivity, and Knowledge management. The Warsaw Hub specializes in developing and scaling algorithms with a focus on impact, value, resilience, and reliability, serving over 100,000 employees and billions of consumers worldwide. The team is part of a global network of over 200 Data Scientists across multiple countries.

• At least a Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Economics) or a Bachelor's/Engineer degree with consecutive data science experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with production-grade Data Science or algorithmically enabled applications.
• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes.
• Proficient coding skills, preferably in Python and Spark.
• Strong technical and analytical skills including SQL, optimization, simulation, and predictive modeling.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Big Data ecosystem: Databricks, Spark, BigQuery.
• Basic understanding of Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
• Experience with Agile DevOps, Github, Jira, and Confluence is advantageous.

• Partner with product teams and business leaders to understand problems and collaborate with AI and data engineering teams to automate and deploy models.
• Develop insights to guide the algorithmic evolution roadmap in the assigned business area.
• Analyze and model large datasets, including translating 1.5TB daily consumer touchpoints and 500 million consumer behaviors into actionable recommendations.
• Apply machine learning techniques and algorithms to answer business questions and propose solutions.
• Develop understanding of machine learning, statistics, optimization, GenAI, and other advanced analytical models and their real-world applications.
• Build and maintain resilient algorithmic pipelines that deliver sustained impact and value.
• Write production-grade code following best practices.
