Zleceniobiorca/-czyni na Staż - Data Platform Engineering

Data Engineering stream is looking for a future Data Platform Engineer to start their career in T-Mobile Poland. The role is part of a new, strategic data transformation project moving analytics from on-premise to GCP and building data architecture and data model from the ground up, focusing on business value creation and customer experience.

• Good written and verbal communication (clear notes, structured documentation) and a proactive attitude to reporting risks/blockers.
• Strong willingness to learn new tools.
• Interest in data platform engineering tooling and developer enablement.
• English proficiency sufficient for corporate communication and technical documentation.
• At least basic knowledge of Python, Java, or Bash.
• Basics of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Assisting with CI/CD topics under mentor guidance (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins): basic troubleshooting, small improvements, and validating changes.
• Supporting ad-hoc organizational tasks that improve team efficiency and reduce manual overhead.
• Supporting a data transformation program working with large-scale datasets, learning how platform decisions impact reliability, cost, and time-to-delivery.
• Supporting the team lead and team in day-to-day coordination: improving ticket descriptions, tracking blockers and dependencies, and preparing inputs for status meetings.

Only candidates located in Poland are considered. Work mode is hybrid with 2-3 days in the office at Warszawa, Marynarska 12.
