Senior Java Developer - Smart City

Incubly is a company supporting tech companies and startups (scaleups) in fast, high-quality scaling of their teams and boosting product development, testing, and deployment. They are currently working with Arrive, a global mobility platform active in over 90 countries and 20,000 cities, providing solutions like smart payments, optimized parking, and EV charging to create more livable cities and better travel experiences.

• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Kotest).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Professional fluency in English.

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend services using Java and Kotlin.
• Design and develop new backend microservices and modularize existing monolithic functionalities.
• Collaborate on architectural strategy and technical investigations to define and implement scalable solutions.
• Actively engage in remote collaboration within a distributed team.
• Participate in the on-call rotation after some time.
