Cloud Architect

EXATEL is a Polish telecommunications company with 30 years of experience providing comprehensive telecommunications services across Poland for operators, businesses, and the public sector. The company operates over 23,800 km of network and combines telecommunications with innovation. EXATEL conducts R&D in ICT, developing proprietary network devices (SDN) and cybersecurity software (TAMA - own anti-DDoS). It also supports external clients in SOC and offers satellite connectivity services based on its own teleport.

• Experience designing architecture in one or more environments: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Knowledge of cloud IaaS/PaaS services (compute, storage, networking, security, identity, monitoring).
• Experience with cloud-native architecture, containerization, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of Cloud Security best practices, IAM, access policies, and shared responsibility models.
• Participation in migration or modernization projects (lift & shift, replatforming, refactoring).
• Ability to create technical documentation and architectural analyses (HLD/LLD).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (network, infrastructure, development, security).
• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience designing hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD automation.

• Designing architecture solutions based on cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Cloud, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Defining standards, design patterns, policies, and best practices in Cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments.
• Supporting cloud migration projects, application modernization, and transformation from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Collaborating with infrastructure, network, R&D, security, and maintenance teams on creating and integrating new services.
• Ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and cost optimization of cloud solutions.
• Advising business stakeholders on technology directions and recommended architectures.
• Monitoring technology trends and recommending innovations aligned with the organization's roadmap.
