Principal Architect, Financial Services Institution, Google Cloud (English, Polish)

The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build their business with cloud technology. The team develops products for security, reliability, and scalability, serving developers, businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies globally. The role is within the Customer Engineering organization, leading cross-functional teams to design, plan, implement, and govern enterprise cloud strategies. The Principal Architect acts as a hybrid technical and business advisor, partnering with Value Engineering to articulate the value of technical solutions and business partnerships with Google Cloud.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent customer-facing role.
• Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
• Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Experience in or supporting the financial services industry.
• Fluency in English and Polish for client communication.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
• Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems.
• Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation processes with understanding of large-scale computing solutions.
• Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in Cloud/IT.
• Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to position and orchestrate solutions consisting of multiple products.
• Ability to drive and influence audiences and identify expansion engagements within accounts.

• Build trusted advisory relationships with strategic accounts and engage with senior technical and executive stakeholders to identify priorities, objections, and design strategies across the Google ecosystem.
• Provide domain expertise in public cloud and enterprise technology, promoting Google Cloud to customers, at conferences, and online.
• Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement complete solutions and optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
• Manage enterprise architecture relationships by collaborating with specialists, product management, and technical teams.
• Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events as required (approximately 50%).
