AI Product Engineer (Tooling)

Tooploox is part of Solvd Inc, with a team of nearly 200 specialists including a 40+ person R&D team with many PhDs. They create AI-powered products and services across industries such as healthcare and e-commerce, publishing research in venues like NeurIPS and ICML. The AI Client Innovation team focuses on turning new AI capabilities into practical solutions for clients rapidly.

• Strong full-stack engineering ability with experience shipping end-to-end solutions independently.
• Fluency with coding agents and LLM tooling, including multi-agent orchestration, context engineering, and LLM APIs.
• Curiosity and creativity focused on tooling, tracking new coding agents, MCPs, plugins, and AI dev tools.
• Clear communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem discovery instincts to identify real problems and question assumed solutions.
• Client-facing confidence to run demos and handle feedback.
• Comfort with ambiguity, speed, and context switching across multiple projects.
• Systems thinking to identify patterns and improve team processes.

Nice to have:

• Experience building internal developer tools or platforms.
• Background in CI/CD, automation, or DevOps.

• Own and evolve the team's internal tooling: MCPs, plugins, skills, AGENTS.md, templates, and reusable building blocks.
• Ship client increments alongside the team when not focused on tooling work.
• Design and improve agentic engineering workflows to enable faster shipping.
• Enable the team to adopt new tools and workflows.
• Partner with Pre-sales, GTM, and product discovery teams to understand client problems and constraints.
• Identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities with the team.
• Turn one-off solutions into repeatable patterns for the team.
• Document tooling and workflows for easy adoption and extension.
