3D Environmental Artist with Brain on Fire

Monsarrat is developing an AR mobile walking game in Warsaw with a major Hollywood franchise, advised by former executives from Lucasfilm, Blizzard, and PlayStation. The project is the world's first Outdoor Roleplaying Game and aims to grow significantly in the next year.

• Strong portfolio showcasing environments built for real-time games (preferably mobile).
• Deep understanding of trim sheet creation and implementation.
• Technically proficient with modular workflows, lighting, shaders, and optimization for performance.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of entire scenes with minimal concept art guidance.
• Preferably experienced in hard-surface modeling and environment prop creation.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in game art production.
• Comfortable collaborating remotely while maintaining clear and proactive communication.
• Passionate about building immersive worlds that strengthen gameplay and mood.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience shipping mobile or stylized games.
• Strong grasp of texture authoring, material setup, or procedural tools (Substance Designer, Blender, Unity).
• Interest in visual storytelling and player experience design.

• Design and build high-quality, optimized environments for mobile platforms.
• Develop modular assets and trim sheets to maximize efficiency and visual consistency.
• Collaborate with the art and tech teams to ensure assets meet performance and style requirements.
• Contribute ideas to improve workflows, tools, and visual direction.
• Maintain a strong sense of artistic composition, scale, and storytelling through environment design.
• Participate in reviews and help mentor junior artists when needed.
