Senior Application Operation Engineer (m/f/d)

The Market Data Cluster is part of the key area CIO - Corporate Clients and provides market data across the bank.

Our responsibilities include the provision, distribution and contribution of data as well as the connection to exchanges and data services.

As a global hub for market data – with locations in Frankfurt, London & Lodz – the team is the direct link to the business, market data vendors and senior management of the bank. They are responsible for market data licenses, terminals & platforms as well as the bank-wide market data budget. In Lodz, CIO-CC Market Data supports technological, operational and business tasks within Market Data Cluster. By actively managing vendors, licenses, and requirements, as well as implementing market data platforms and services, the team is actively driving innovation and process automation.

• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows / Windows Server Operating Systems
• Strong understanding of Computer Network Principles, including Multicast and Firewall
• Knowledge of network connectivity and security principles
• Database general knowledge
• Good knowledge of Database Management Systems
• Proficient in working with APIs
• Support during the night (on-call)

• Build and maintain strong relationships with all interfacing parties, including the business and other IT functions
• Provide technical solutions to maintain a high level of operation stability of the applications supported
• Build and document technical operational support tasks and associated governance documentation as Technical Product Manager
• Support projects in the configuration of CI/CD
• Working with big data environment and low latency
• Performing requirement analysis, investigating, and implementing solutions, preparing documentation
