Team Leader IT – Database

SB Software is a trusted software provider offering innovative solutions including a platform for player account management (PAM), sports betting, casino, and payment gateways. The company supports B2B clients across Poland, Europe, Asia, and Africa with modern tools for online and retail channels. The headquarters is located in the Black Pearl building in central Szczecin, employing over 60 specialists.

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team in a B2B environment
• Experience designing and scaling complex data systems
• Very good knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of High Availability concepts
• Knowledge of Linux systems
• Project experience related to data warehouses and ETL processes
• Good work organization and responsibility for assigned tasks
• Ability to build partnership relations with team and stakeholders
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and respond quickly to changes
• Proactivity and ability to provide constructive feedback
• Very good knowledge of Polish and English (minimum B2)
• Availability to work on-site in Szczecin

Nice to have:

• Professional experience as an SQL Programmer or similar technical role
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DWH
• Experience in tuning and optimizing SQL queries
• Experience working with GIT version control system
• Experience programming in scripting languages in Linux environment

• Manage the Database team and ensure continuity and security of data in production environments
• Responsible for availability, performance, and reliability of database platforms
• Build mature collaboration between development, administration, and business teams in the database area
• Provide regular feedback, evaluate results, and support team competence development
• Create and update project plans
• Prioritize, monitor, and optimize database processes and plan sprints
• Co-create the technology roadmap in the database area
• Supervise quality and data security standards

The position requires availability to perform tasks at the company headquarters in Szczecin.
