API Integration Designer (Apigee, Google Cloud)

We are seeking a skilled API Integration Designer with expertise in Apigee and Google Cloud Platform to design, implement, and maintain API management solutions.

• Minimum of three years of practical experience with Apigee, including API proxy development, policies, OAuth, and JWT.
• Strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services relevant to API management.
• Comprehensive understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and API security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and mutual TLS (mTLS).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, particularly Git.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.

Desirable additional skills:

• Knowledge of other API management tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Kong).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployment environments.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven integration approaches.
• Professional certifications related to Apigee or Google Cloud Platform.

• Design and implement API management solutions using Apigee on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Create and maintain API proxies, policies, and configurations to ensure security, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to integrate APIs with backend systems and third-party services.
• Define and document API standards, best practices, and governance guidelines to support enterprise integration.
• Troubleshoot and optimize API performance while ensuring compliance with established integration patterns.
• Support deployment and ongoing monitoring of APIs within cloud environments.
