Senior Java Developer

Scalo is engaged in a long-term project for the banking sector involving development and modification of applications and services in a microservices architecture, used by millions of users in digital banking.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience programming in Java
• Experience with Java SE 11 or newer
• Good knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Integration
• Experience working with relational databases
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Maven, Jira, and Jenkins
• Experience with SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON standards
• Higher education in computer science or related field
• Ability to work in a team and engage in project work
• Nice to have: experience with GCP, non-relational databases, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Anthos)

• Development and modification of applications and services in a microservices architecture
• Working on systems used by millions of users in digital banking
• Creating unit and integration tests and ensuring high code quality
• Analyzing possible solutions and participating in project work and documentation
• Collaborating with technical and business teams in a large organization
• Working with a modern technology stack including Java 11+, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, relational databases, SOAP/REST, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Jira
• Working in a hybrid model: 1 day per week in the office in Warsaw
