IT Senior Consultant for Technology Strategy and M&A | Poland

The Business of Technology Team provides expert support to clients in the development and operationalization of IT strategies, as well as during international M&A transactions from an IT and technology perspective. The team specializes in crafting and refining IT strategies, assessing IT processes, designing target operating models, and delivering services such as due diligence, carve-outs, and post-merger integration. Advisory services cover IT strategy analysis and optimization, application and infrastructure assessment, internal IT process enhancement, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. The team collaborates with major players across varied industries, offering opportunities for personal growth and extensive understanding of IT and technology.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in IT, business technology, or related fields.
• Proficient in creating clear and engaging visual representations using tools such as PowerPoint, Visio, Google Slides, Miro, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical and analytical mindset.
• Knowledge of IT processes and their impact on business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Business Informatics, or another technical discipline.
• Language proficiency: Polish (native or minimum C2), English (minimum C1), other EU languages (especially German) considered an advantage.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience in IT strategy, IT transformations, and IT M&A within consulting environments (Big4, MBB, or other leading firms).
• Familiarity with financials and accounting or additional university degree/postgraduate certification in related fields.
• Practical expertise in Miro, BPMN, and UML notation systems.
• Relevant certifications in project management, process management, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or other IT domains, with ITIL being particularly desirable.
