Senior Automation QA Engineer (.NET)

• 5–7 years of experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on API and integration testing
• Strong experience in test automation using .NET Core / .NET 8 (LTS)
• Solid experience with API testing (creating and maintaining automated API tests)
• Experience in creating test documentation, test plans, and test processes
• Hands-on experience with Playwright
• Experience with UI test automation using .NET
• Experience with Postman for API testing and validation
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6)
• Experience with Zephyr Scale or similar test management tools
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to support test automation development and maintenance

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with SonarQube
• Experience with CodeQL

• Define, implement, and continuously evolve the overall QA strategy for the project
• Design, develop, and maintain a robust automated testing framework, ensuring reliability, stability, and long-term maintainability of automated tests
• Identify areas that require automated coverage by analyzing the application architecture, codebase, and business functionality, and select the most effective automation approaches
• Establish and maintain Quality Gates, including defining quality criteria, configuring validation checks, and ensuring they are properly integrated into the development workflow
• Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers to design and implement CI/CD pipelines that support automated testing and enforce Quality Gates
• Perform functional testing activities when required, combining automation with targeted manual validation to ensure product quality
• Contribute to test design and documentation where necessary (e.g., outlining testing scenarios or high-level validation flows) to support the overall testing strategy
• Conduct performance and load testing, analyze results, and recommend data-driven improvements to the system and QA processes
