Our Tax Technology team creates and implements advanced IT solutions supporting business and tax calculation processes related mainly to international personal income taxes (GMS – Global Mobility Services) and human resources management. The team collaborates globally across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, focusing on safe, innovative, and user-friendly solutions combining business knowledge with new technologies. KPMG is an international network of audit and advisory companies with 275,000 employees in 142 countries, providing comprehensive services including IT to Polish and international companies across all sectors of the economy. In Poland, KPMG employs over 2300 people in multiple cities including Warsaw and Kraków.
Wymagania
- At least 2 years of experience as a web application developer
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (C#, .NET platform)
- Experience with at least one frontend technology such as Angular, React, TypeScript, or JavaScript, including familiarity with MVC/MVVM patterns
- Experience in building web applications (ASP.NET Core, Web API, SQL and NoSQL databases)
- Good command of English (spoken and written), enabling work with technical documentation and collaboration with international teams
- Experience with Azure DevOps or a similar platform
- Strong analytical thinking skills, taking ownership, and a solution-oriented “can-do” mindset
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a distributed team
Nice to have:
- Experience with testing approaches (TDD, nUnit/xUnit, integration tests)
- Experience in cloud development, preferably with Microsoft Azure (App Service, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, etc.)
- Understanding of CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps and experience working in Agile environments

- Design, develop, and implement modern business applications based on business and technical requirements
- Maintain existing solutions and develop new functionalities within current modules
- Participate in deployment processes and support end-users in resolving ongoing business-related issues
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts (BA), Quality Assurance (QA), and UX experts
- Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date
