Risk & Capital Management Team Member with German | FS Consulting

FS Consulting at PwC Poland is a vibrant team of experts helping financial institutions and large corporations in Poland and beyond tackle risk management challenges - from market and credit risk to operational risk and regulatory compliance.

We’ve launched a new specialist group that works closely with PwC Germany’s Risk and Regulatory Practice. This team delivers high-impact consulting projects for Germany’s financial sector, collaborating directly with German colleagues, engaging in cross-border projects, and traveling to Frankfurt.

• Fluency in both English and German (minimum C1 level)
• Some experience in Financial Services or Consulting, gained through internships, projects, or training
• Good understanding of the European regulatory environment and interest in staying updated on industry changes
• Completed or near completion of a degree in finance, business law, econometrics, or other relevant quantitative or qualitative fields
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, to support data analysis and reporting
• Excel at using AI tools to automate tasks, analyze information, generate content
• Proactive, organized approach to work with strong focus on quality and attention to detail
• Open, honest, and proactive communication style, comfortable collaborating with multicultural teams
• High motivation to learn, grow professionally, and actively engage with the German team and clients

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, C, Python, SAS, R)
• Familiarity with CRR/CRD regulations and relevant EBA Guidelines

• Work alongside experts on real projects for leading German banks and fintech companies, learning hands-on how advanced risk management works in the fast-paced financial world
• Get trained in risk and capital related hot topics, risk and resolution planning and cutting-edge risk techniques, while keeping up to date with the latest financial regulations
