Experienced cloud engineer/DevOps (AWS)

Our team is distributed between Poland, Czechia and Slovakia. We actively develop and manage REST APIs, implement new microservices, and establish effective integrations with external solutions for ESET cloud products.

• Knowledge of cloud services: AWS, Azure
• Experience designing cloud enterprise infrastructure
• At least 5 years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Terraform
• Knowledge of Helm, kubectl, Azure CLI, FreeLens
• Experience with automated deployments via Jenkins and GitLab pipelines
• Awareness of API Gateways (Nginx) and service mesh technologies (Kuma service mesh)
• Knowledge of data formats: JSON, YAML, Protobuf
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages: Bash, Python
• Experience with management tools: JIRA, Confluence, Git
• Independence, responsibility, logical and analytical thinking
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
• Teamwork and communication skills
• English language – upper‑intermediate level (B2), including understanding technical documentation

• Design and manage cloud enterprise infrastructure handling large-scale events (e.g., 100 million events per day)
• Active monitoring and maintenance of Kubernetes
• Performance and cost optimization of cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate on security audits
• Review infrastructure decisions of junior team members
• Develop and manage public REST APIs and microservices
• Establish integrations with third-party external solutions
• Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, BitBucket, Jenkins in Agile/Scrum environment
