Senior Data Engineer

Mindbox is a tech-driven company connecting top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. The role involves working on big data platform development for global financial services using technologies like Spark, Scala, Airflow, and cloud environments.

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in Big Data ecosystems.
• Strong hands-on experience in Scala/Spark development.
• Proficiency in SQL and Big Data tools (Hive, Airflow, Cloudera).
• Experience implementing CI/CD workflows and DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex data systems.
• Fluent in English (C1+) with excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Databricks, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Exposure to microservices and REST APIs.
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices, code quality, and automation.

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines using technologies like Scala/Spark, Airflow, Hive.
• Participate in code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver data lake and analytics solutions across regions.
• Monitor and improve data processing workflows for performance and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with security controls, SDLC, and internal governance standards.
