Developer IBM ODM (m/f/d)

Commerzbank is a leading international commercial bank with branches and offices in almost 50 countries. The company is transitioning from a traditional bank to a digital enterprise, working in inter-locational and international teams using agile methodologies.

• At least 2 years hands-on experience with IBM ODM.
• Strong knowledge of Rule Designer, Decision Center, Decision Server Runtime, Ruleflows, Decision Tables/Trees, Action Rules, BOM/XOM, BAL.
• Experience with Java 11+, Maven/Gradle, Git, JUnit/Mockito.
• Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP, JSON/XML formats; basic Swagger/OpenAPI knowledge.
• Experience with rule versioning and collaborative change management (branching, review, merge, release).
• Ability to diagnose performance and stability issues of rulesets; troubleshooting across DEV/UAT/PROD environments.

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into business rules within IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
• Design and implement ODM artefacts: Decision Tables, Decision Trees, Action Rules, Ruleflows; design BOM/XOM and Business Vocabulary (BAL).
• Work with Rule Designer (Eclipse) and Decision Center (branching, governance, rule reviews, release management).
• Quality assurance: scenario-based ruleset tests, decision regression analysis, code reviews.
• Performance & reliability: ruleset profiling, caching.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts/SMEs; support Decision Center business users throughout the change lifecycle.
