Senior Analytics Engineer (Looker)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a similar role.
• Documented experience working with Google BigQuery and Looker (LookML) in a production environment.
• Very good knowledge of SQL and experience in data modeling (e.g., star/snowflake schemas).
• Knowledge of data transformation tools such as dbt or similar.
• Good understanding of data governance, data lineage, and documentation.
• Very good communication skills and experience collaborating with stakeholders.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining data models supporting analytics and reporting.
• Creating and optimizing SQL queries in Google BigQuery environment.
• Building and developing the semantic layer in Looker (LookML).
• Implementing and maintaining data transformation processes using tools like dbt.
• Ensuring high data quality through good modeling and data validation practices.
• Implementing and maintaining data governance standards, including documentation and data lineage.
• Collaborating with business and technical teams to understand analytical needs.
• Communicating with stakeholders and translating business requirements into data solutions.
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of data processing workflows.
