Portfolio Systems Technical Expert (Airtable)

This role supports the CS CoE Portfolio Management Team by translating complex portfolio requirements into a high-performance Airtable ecosystem. The position involves working alongside portfolio managers to ensure tooling is automated, integrated, and user-friendly.

• Proven experience in Airtable development and database design.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data reliability.
• Strong proficiency in working with APIs and automation middleware.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to help a non-technical team achieve goals through technology.
• Ability to quickly adapt and provide immediate value through iterative technical improvements.

• Design, build, and optimise complex relational database structures in Airtable, ensuring data integrity across multiple bases and implementing advanced rollup/formula logic.
• Develop custom Airtable Interfaces for data entry, editing, and dashboards tailored to portfolio team needs, focusing on usability and data visualisation.
• Develop and maintain API integrations (via REST APIs or custom scripts) to ensure seamless data flow and minimise manual entry.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for the portfolio team, participating in team ceremonies to understand workflow bottlenecks and propose technical solutions.
• Proactively identify data quality issues, raise concerns, and collaborate on improvements to ensure portfolio data accuracy and trustworthiness.
