Service Desk IT Technician

Baltic IT Support sp. z o.o. is a professional organization providing user support and IT service. They work for international corporations and large enterprises and institutions. They operate in Poland, Germany, and Latvia. They execute large projects for clients in the telecommunications, retail, banking, and fuel sectors.

• Knowledge of computer hardware structure and functioning.
• Knowledge of networking topics (network devices, TCP/IP protocols, OSI model, firewall).
• Ability to install and configure peripheral devices.
• High meticulousness, reliability, and good self-organization.
• Good command of English in spoken and written form.
• Experience in end-user IT support is welcome.
• Service-level knowledge of PC computers, printers, and other IT equipment (assembly, component replacement, diagnosis) is welcome.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and/or backup systems/disk arrays is welcome.
• High level of personal culture.

• Support users and handle IT requests (personal computers, peripheral devices, operating systems, Office suite).
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical user issues based on established SLA parameters.
• Manage IT assets: prepare workstations for employees and maintain accurate equipment records in internal systems.
• Supervise the warehouse: maintain order in hardware resources and control issuance and returns of IT accessories.
• Maintain records: diligently update the equipment database to ensure system state matches actual state.
• Configure hardware and software.
• Update the knowledge base and assist in creating maintenance procedures.
