Master Data Management (MDM) & Business Process Expert for SAP

Our client is a family-owned German company with over 80 years of experience in technology and unique audio experiences. The role involves building a new R&D Team in Poznan and influencing the future of the technology department and solution creation.

• Technical proficiency in SQL, Python/Java, MDM Software (Informatica, Semarchy, Riversand), and ETL tools.
• Experience with BPMN tools such as Visio and Signavio.
• Deep understanding of Data Modeling (ERDs), Metadata Management, and Data Lineage.
• Deep understanding of Business Process Modeling and Process Hierarchies at SAP best practice item level.
• Analytical skills to perform root-cause analysis on data anomalies and complex logic gaps.
• Stakeholder management, cross-functional communication, and promotion of data culture.
• Typically 5+ years in Data Engineering, Data Governance, or Master Data roles or proven managerial experience in complex IT projects.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Informatica, Semarchy, Riversand MDM software.
• Experience with SAP Signavio.

• Define the MDM architecture (Hub, Registry, or Hybrid models) and lead the technical implementation of MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, SAP MDG, or Profisee).
• Build a business processes house for SAP applications, host and maintain the processes in SAP Signavio.
• Co-Develop and enforce data standards, policies, and business rules with Data Domain Owners.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards to ensure compliance.
• Co-Develop the digital process house with E2E Process Owners, establishing rules for process design, change, and discontinuation.
• Design and maintain complex data models for domains such as Customer, Product, Supplier, or Employee data.
• Drive hands-on master data quality initiatives across domains.
• Implement automated profiling, cleansing, and matching/merging rules to eliminate duplicates and ensure "Golden Records."
• Map data flows between the MDM hub and downstream/upstream systems (ERP, CRM, Data Warehouses) using ETL or API frameworks.
• Create dashboards and KPIs to track data health, including accuracy rates, completeness, and synchronization latency.
