Senior Python Backend Engineer

Position at one of the world's largest banks working on stable, long-term projects with opportunities for personal growth and development, including project rotation.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud development, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Functions, API Management, monitoring, messaging services)
• Strong programming skills in Python, with additional experience in Java or .NET
• Solid understanding of unit testing practices and commitment to high code quality
• Experience with application monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization (e.g., Application Insights or similar tools)
• Proven experience in designing and implementing API integrations, ideally within CRM or similar environments
• Ability to translate technical designs into production-ready solutions efficiently
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and ownership-driven approach
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Flexibility to work across multiple technologies, programming languages, and cloud platforms

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with integration of third-party platforms or SaaS tools
• Background in working with enterprise-scale system integrations

• Design and document technical solutions for API-based and microservices integrations
• Take ownership of end-to-end development, delivering secure and scalable solutions across backend and frontend layers
• Build and manage integrations between systems using cloud-native services (e.g., serverless functions, messaging)
• Optimize and maintain existing codebases (primarily Python), including refactoring where needed
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders, presenting solutions and incorporating feedback
• Contribute to future architecture planning, including potential cloud migrations and platform improvements
