We are looking for a leader with the stature, judgement, and resilience to manage a large regional engineering organisation in a dynamic environment. This person should bring a strong combination of strategic thinking, operational rigour, and people leadership.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience leading engineering teams across multiple locations and knows how to create alignment, clarity, and momentum across distributed structures. They have successfully led teams during moments of transformation - whether related to growth, restructuring, integration, leadership change, or a broader shift in engineering maturity and ways of working.
This role requires someone who can balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution, while building credibility with senior stakeholders and strengthening the performance of the wider organisation. A background in large technology-driven companies, digital businesses, SaaS, fintech, enterprise software, or similarly complex environments will be highly relevant.
Wymagania
- Significant experience leading large software engineering teams across multiple countries or locations.
- Proven background in transformation, change management, and organisational evolution within engineering-led environments.
- Strong track record of managing through complexity, scale, and multi-layer leadership structures.
- Experience partnering directly with senior executives and influencing decisions at leadership level.
- Strong understanding of modern engineering practices, delivery models, team effectiveness, and software development excellence.
- Ability to connect engineering priorities with broader commercial and organisational goals.
- Experience in a large-scale, international technology environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Fluent English and the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, international setting.

- Lead a large, geographically distributed software engineering organisation across Europe.
- Drive transformation and change initiatives across the engineering function, including organisational design, leadership effectiveness, delivery improvement, and operating model evolution.
- Define and execute the engineering strategy for the region, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term company objectives.
- Build stronger engineering standards, improve execution quality, and create greater consistency across teams and locations.
- Develop, coach, and strengthen the engineering leadership layer, including senior managers and directors.
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders across technology, product, operations, and business functions.
- Lead the organisation through periods of scale, integration, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, quality, and delivery excellence.
- Oversee workforce planning, budgeting, prioritisation, and resource allocation across the regional engineering organisation.
- Ensure the function operates with strong governance, sound risk awareness, and high leadership discipline.
