Data QA / ETL Testing Engineer

• Commercial experience in Data QA / ETL testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing for ETL or data projects
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases
• Good understanding of ETL, Operational Data Store, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience in validating data mappings, transformations, and business rules
• Practical experience in manual data testing and strong attention to data quality
• Familiarity with Git-based tools, such as Bitbucket
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum / SAFe environments
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
• Fluent English, both spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Experience with IBM DataStage, Informatica, or similar ETL tools

• Work as part of a Scrum team in a data-focused banking project
• Develop and maintain automated tests for ETL processes and data migrations into the Operational Data Store
• Validate data mappings, transformations, and business rules using SQL
• Perform manual data testing and exploratory checks when needed
• Review mapping documents, data models, and integration requirements
• Collaborate closely with ETL Engineers, developers, and business stakeholders
• Support regression testing and release activities
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, test evidence, and defect reports
