AppOps (application administrator) for DC migration project

The role is part of a data center migration program involving applications that support payment card acceptance, acquiring, and issuer processor business processes. These critical business functions include transaction authorization processes implemented by locally developed and externally provided application systems.

• Experience with application migration from one data center to another
• Experience working in similar roles or projects involving application migrations
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken Polish and English
• Ability to work with SMEs from several countries and socialize technical scope, challenges, and solutions
• Understanding of availability, performance, monitoring, and resilience for semi real-time online transaction and mass transaction processing systems
• Understanding of infrastructure aspects, network solutions, load balancing, and TLS
• Responsibility for product quality and commitment keeping
• Ability to share knowledge, find compromises, and build relationships within local and corporate organizations

• Efficient use of PL/SQL / T-SQL
• Efficient use of Perl / PowerShell / Shell / Bash / Python
• Work closely with FTS Application & Middleware Team on BAU tasks
• Collaborate with PMs to build, test, and migrate to new environments, including preparation and placement of infrastructure build, configuration, or access requests and addressing blockers
• Diagnose and solve technical problems
• Monitor environments for performance and reliability
• Produce quality, live documentation using Confluence
• Administration, configuration, and maintenance of payment card issuing and acquiring system applications
• Monitor correct operation of application environments to maintain continuity
• Provide system support for application servers by solving incidents and problems
• Verify and implement changes delivered to production systems
• Participate in project work within local and international organizations
• Cooperate with external technical support and technical groups within an international corporation
