Head of Artificial Intelligence

The Head of Artificial Intelligence is a senior executive role responsible for the overarching AI vision, strategy, and execution across the entire enterprise. This leader will drive the integration of machine learning, deep learning, and cognitive computing into the core of scientific and business processes, contributing to breakthroughs in drug discovery, clinical development, and patient outcomes.

• Professional experience within the Life Science industry, with understanding of deploying technology in regulated environments (GxP, clinical trials, pharmaceutical R&D).
• Over 10 years of IT leadership experience focused on building and scaling high-performing AI/ML teams.
• Extensive expertise in the AI/ML lifecycle, including model validation and explainability in clinical and pharmaceutical contexts.
• Experience building and scaling global, multidisciplinary teams of data scientists, ML engineers, and domain experts.
• Strategic mindset with ability to manage significant budgets and influence executive board on AI investments.
• Full professional mastery of English, capable of serving as global thought leader and spokesperson for AI initiatives.

• Define and champion the enterprise-wide AI strategy, ensuring it drives innovation in R&D, clinical trials, and manufacturing.
• Establish and chair the AI Governance Board to ensure ethical AI practices, data integrity, and adherence to international regulatory requirements.
• Drive the industrialization of AI, transitioning from proof-of-concepts to scalable enterprise solutions delivering measurable ROI.
• Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to identify and execute strategic acquisitions, partnerships, or investments in AI and Biotech.
• Foster an organizational culture of "AI-first," leading change management to integrate AI-driven decision-making company-wide.
