Senior Jasper Report Designer / Layout Specialist

• Strong professional experience with JasperReports/Jaspersoft Studio or equivalent enterprise reporting tools like BIRT, Crystal Reports, SSRS, or Oracle BI Publisher.
• Proven track record in creating print-ready, pixel-perfect documents.
• Deep understanding of subreports, conditional styling, font metrics, and dynamic layout behavior.
• Ability to evaluate layout risks and PDF parity during reporting engine migrations.
• Proficiency in bridging the gap between business needs and technical constraints.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Apache FOP, XSL-FO, iText, or PDFBox.
• Background in financial, regulatory, or high-volume client statement generation.

• Build and modify JRXML templates with a focus on high-end PDF layouts.
• Resolve complex issues regarding pagination, page breaks, dynamic tables, and font embedding.
• Conduct technical spikes (POCs) to assess migration risks from legacy systems to JasperReports.
• Advise the team on "out-of-the-box" solutions vs. necessary workarounds or custom code.
• Work closely with Java developers and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
