Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer

The client is a fast-growing European tech startup specializing in optimizing delivery processes for retailers and end customers, collaborating with major logistics operators, e-commerce platforms, and well-known fashion and retail brands.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
• Higher technical education (Computer Science, Engineering, or related) or equivalent practical experience
• Programming and automation skills in Go, Python, Bash, or similar
• Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Very good knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry)
• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture
• Teamwork and technical communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure costs
• Experience in distributed environments and high availability systems
• Experience working in on-call model
• Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Experience with Docker and container environments

Project responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for deployments and scaling
• Create and develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Monitor system health, ensure reliability, and optimize costs
• Provide technical support to product teams and collaborate on infrastructure issues
• Participate in on-call duties
• Automate processes and implement improvements to increase developer team efficiency

Work in a hybrid mode from the client's office in Wrocław, Poland.
