(F / M) Data Engineer (Snowflake, ETL, BI) - Full remote (F/M)

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of (F/M) Data Engineer (Snowflake, ETL, BI) for our client from the biotechnology industry.

• Experience working in a regulated (GxP) environment.
• Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (or Databricks) and ETL tools (Alteryx preferred; DBT is a plus).
• Familiarity with Git (GitLab/GitHub) and basic CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Tableau (or willingness to learn).
• Fluent communication in English.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and provide realistic effort estimates.

Nice to have:

• Experience in ITIL / SLA-driven environments or incident response.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality tools (e.g., Collibra, Monte Carlo, Immuta).
• Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) and streaming architectures.

• Resolving and documenting minor bugs with full traceability and compliance (Jira, ServiceNow).
• Optimizing Snowflake and Alteryx data pipelines by reducing technical debt and improving performance.
• Migrating ETL workflows from Alteryx to Snowflake (SQL / PySpark), including job scheduling and logic redesign.
• Converting batch-based ETL processes into Change Data Capture (CDC) / streaming solutions.
• Maintaining and enhancing dashboards to ensure performance, stability, and business readability.
• Implementing automated regression tests and supporting CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments.
