PaleoHacks - Full-Stack eCommerce Developer

PaleoHacks is a small, remote team of 16 full-time people working globally, creating practical tools like cookbooks, meal plans, and daily tips focused on paleo and keto diets. They operate five brands and focus on performance design and improving sales funnels.

• 4+ years of experience in full-stack development (front-end and back-end)
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Tailwind, JavaScript, PHP
• Experience with JavaScript / Node.js (with Next.js)
• Ability to work with custom-coded systems (not plugin-based)
• Understanding of server environments and deployments
• Comfortable working across front-end, back-end, and server logic
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• AI-focus (development with the use of AI)

Nice to have:

• Backend development experience
• Experience with Shopify, Sticky.io or similar headless ecommerce platforms
• Familiarity with CRO and performance tracking software

• Slice and code sales pages based on Figma designs
• Build and maintain sales funnels using PHP, custom CMS, and headless systems
• Develop landing pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Next.js
• Create and run split tests, QA pages, and debug issues
• Support product setup and integrations including SKUs, fulfillment, and email triggers
• Work across multiple server environments including legacy virtual servers, VPS, and Shopify
• Use AI-assisted development workflows such as Claude, AI agents, and code assistants

• Must be happy to work remotely as an independent contractor
