Senior Java Developer

Logifuture is a market leader in 360-degree B2B solutions for igaming operators – across tech, product, operations, data and marketing. The company has over 300 personnel, offices in 5 countries, and offers services globally through its own proprietary technology.

• High proficiency in Java programming language with strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Prior experience working in iGaming, specifically on Game Studio with experience in building slot game backends.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Technology stack.
• Good knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases and caching systems.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and experience in building and consuming APIs.
• Experience with event streaming systems and microservices; comfortable building applications using Kafka.
• Experience in development using CI/CD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Experience in PHP is an asset but not essential.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English.
• Open to assuming on-call responsibilities following an initial period of system familiarisation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field preferred but exceptional candidates will be considered.

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java to support the platform.
• Own solutions and help drive the team forward to goals.
• Aid in the decommissioning of old PHP systems.
• Collaborate with integrations team and external providers to ensure seamless service connections.
• Optimise application performance and scalability through code refactoring, caching mechanisms, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by internal teams or customers in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and improve development processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Promote good team communication and foster a culture of learning, including mentoring where needed.
