Test Automation Engineer

Jit Team is a Polish company employing over 700 experienced experts, creating specialized teams for clients worldwide. They have a long-term partnership with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, engaging over 200 personnel in more than 60 projects for this Norwegian financial services provider. The client emphasizes Scandinavian culture, work-life balance, and international teams with daily English language use.

• Strong ability to analyze requirements, design comprehensive test plans and test cases, and identify potential test scenarios
• Proficiency in Java 21 or higher
• Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies; experience working in Scrum and SAFe teams
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), with understanding of database schemas and relationships
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture principles and patterns
• Experience in testing microservices, including understanding service dependencies and isolation for testing
• Knowledge of REST principles and experience in testing RESTful APIs
• Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, headers
• Ability to test API endpoints using various tools
• Experience in creating automated testing frameworks/solutions from scratch
• Strong knowledge of Java, including OOP concepts and design patterns
• Good command of English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

• ISTQB agile certified, ISTQB fundamental certified or planning to take certification soon
• ISTQB Test Automation Engineer certified or planning to take certification soon

• Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios
• Design and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Prepare and manage test data
• Perform API testing using various tools and approaches
• Validate microservices interactions, dependencies, and behavior
