Python Software Engineer with LLM (Expert)

The role is within a new, globally distributed team focused on revolutionizing internal developer experience in a large technical organization via AI-based developer tools.

• Proven polyglot programming skills with the ability to rapidly learn new languages, frameworks, and domains.
• Strong, hands-on experience in Python.
• Hands-on, practical experience building with or integrating LLMs, coding assistants, or AI agents, with readiness to demonstrate or discuss implementations.
• Proactive, self-starter attitude with clear communication skills.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members in the US West Coast time zone.

Nice to have:

• Passion for or experience in building developer tools, IDE plugins, or enhancing developer workflows.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
• Familiarity with MLOps or Data Engineering ecosystems, particularly integration and tooling (not model research or training).

• Design and implement integrations with cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLMs) and APIs such as OpenAI's models and Anthropic's Claude.
• Develop intelligent, agent-based systems to automate and assist in complex software development tasks.
• Engineer core infrastructure for AI agents, including components like MCP servers.
• Integrate AI capabilities into developer workflows by connecting with tools like GitHub, Slack, IDEs, and internal Scala-based services.
• Collaborate with an international distributed team to research, prototype, and deploy solutions enhancing developer productivity and satisfaction.
