DevOps Engineer

SD Solutions is a staffing company operating worldwide. The client, Sunbit, builds financial technology focused on point-of-sale lending and a next-generation, no-fee credit card available at over 30,000 service locations. Sunbit aims to reduce financial stress, maximize buying power, and provide easy-to-use selling tools with people-focused values: trustworthy, inclusive, and transparent.

• 3+ years experience with production systems
• Programming/automation skills in Python, Ruby, Go, Bash
• Experience with AWS, Linux, MySQL, MongoDB, Docker
• Experience with monitoring tools Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus
• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform

Nice to have:

• Security knowledge including Firewall, IPS/IDS, WAF, SELinux
• Multi-cloud familiarity
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark, Kafka, Data Lake

• Responsibility of AWS accounts
• Responsibility for CI/CD automation flows and tools
• Responsibility for Observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Work closely with backend team
• Manage live production environments
• Manage the live environment from server infrastructure to application
