GCP Devops Engineer

Position at one of the world's largest banks involving stable, long-term projects with opportunities for personal growth and development, including project rotation.

• 7+ years of professional experience in a similar DevOps, Cloud, or Systems Engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD toolchains, particularly using Jenkins.
• Solid background in Linux systems administration.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell.
• Proficiency in modern scripting languages, especially Python.
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and drive improvements across teams.

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Provision, configure, and maintain secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) components.
• Use container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to package and deploy system components.
• Support compliance and governance requirements across the SDLC.
• Automate infrastructure and application maintenance tasks using scripting and modern tooling.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and other stakeholders to streamline application delivery and operations.
• Participate in software architecture design, bringing strong DevOps and cloud expertise.
• Implement solutions following industry best practices and recognized Design Patterns.
• Analyse technical and business requirements, propose improvements, and contribute to solution design.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and cloud engineering.
