Data Platform Architect (with GCP) - Automation & Innovation Department

The Automation & Innovation Department at T-Mobile Polska builds solutions powered by AI, GenAI, process automation (RPA, BPA, AIM), and data analytics/ML models running in GCP, AWS, and Kubernetes. They deliver projects across network operations, sales, customer care, and internal and international initiatives, focusing on data platforms and data engineering including data lake/warehouse in BigQuery, ETL/ELT orchestration, data governance, data quality, and security.

• 5+ years experience in data platform architecture or engineering.
• Deep knowledge of GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub), Spark, Kubernetes, DWH, Big Data.
• Proven leadership in hybrid cloud/on-premise integration projects.
• Strong skills in technical documentation, system design, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with cloud-native migrations and hybrid architectures.
• Familiarity with data governance and advanced analytics frameworks.

• Define architectural standards and blueprints for hybrid cloud and on-premise data platforms.
• Set and maintain best practices for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies and methodologies aligned with business and compliance needs.
• Lead the design and integration of Spark-based analytics, Kubernetes-orchestrated workloads, and GCP services.
• Document and communicate data architecture, integration patterns, and workflows for technical audiences.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams on data analytics platform initiatives.
• Guide teams through migration, modernization, and optimization projects.
• Support teams in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and strategic planning.
