Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced team player to fill the position of Lead Data Engineer and participate in an up-and-coming project for a client from the banking industry.

• 7+ years in Big Data systems and data management (5+ years for Senior Data Engineer role).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Scala/Spark.
• Proficiency with Hive, Airflow, Cloudera, and Data Platform.
• At least 2 years of experience leading development teams with strong communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with cloud deployments and a deep understanding of dimensional data modeling.
• Fluent English (at least C1 level).
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or mathematical field.

Nice to have:

• Control-M, GitHub Actions, and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with Sonar, Fortify, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and modern web technologies (NodeJS, React).
