Senior Test Automation Engineer

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. It focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Over 5 years of experience in integration and testing of infotainment systems in automotive or similar consumer electronics devices.
• Knowledge of technologies: Python, C shell, POSIX, Appium, Pytest, ADB.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Solid knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting) for test automation.
• Experience with POSIX-based embedded systems (Linux, Android, QNX).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, initiative, and effective time management.
• Practical experience with Android/ADB.
• Experience with pytest, Appium, and other automation tools.
• Higher education (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of electric vehicles (EVs).
• Experience working with navigation, vehicle access applications, or related systems.
• Experience with Automotive systems, CAN, and Ethernet.

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software integration.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects in HIL and in-vehicle environments.
• Collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure defect removal.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and system architecture.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes.
• Maintain and update test environments.
