DevOps & Python Backend Engineer

We are looking for a skilled engineer to join our team, combining DevOps and backend Python development. You will work on modern cloud infrastructure and microservices, ensuring scalability, automation, and high code quality.

• Proven experience with GCP platform engineering and Terraform
• Strong Python skills and experience with FastAPI
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Firebase for cloud functions, authentication, and hosting
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Firestore
• Understanding of Clean Architecture and modern software design
• Commitment to high code quality and testing

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, VPC, IAM, and Workload Identity
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners on GKE Autopilot
• Containerize applications using Docker
• Implement and maintain Firebase solutions for hosting, authentication, and cloud functions
• Manage databases including Cloud SQL PostgreSQL and Firestore with transactions, triggers, and indexes
• Develop backend microservices in Python using FastAPI with async support and Pydantic
• Apply Clean Architecture principles with service and provider layers
• Work with PostgreSQL and pgvector for vector search and RAG solutions
• Ensure code quality with linters, formatters, type checking, and automated testing using pytest
