Cybersecurity Engineer

DAGMA Sp. z o. o. is an IT security expert company with nearly 40 years of experience. They distribute IT security solutions and provide consulting, implementation, training, IT security audits, and penetration testing. The Katowice location employs nearly 200 people and is continuously growing.

• Higher technical education (computer science, telecommunications, electronics, or related fields)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT/cybersecurity (implementation, maintenance, system support)
• Experience in technical roles (e.g., system engineer, support, project, architect)
• Practical knowledge of EDR/XDR, PAM, and SIEM solutions
• Ability to analyze security events and solve problems
• Knowledge of data protection issues (DLP)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and AI solutions
• English language proficiency at minimum B1 level
• Independence, proactivity, and client-facing skills
• Driving license category B
• Clean criminal record and ability to obtain security clearance

Nice to have:

• Experience with firewall solutions
• Knowledge of company products (e.g., ESET)
• Experience in system parameterization and parser creation
• Industry or vendor certifications
• Experience with SOAR systems and security process automation, including scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)

• Designing, implementing, and configuring cybersecurity solutions (e.g., EDR/XDR, PAM, SIEM, DLP, SOAR)
• Analyzing security events and identifying threats and issues in client environments
• Diagnosing and resolving incidents and technical problems
• Preparing technical documentation, reports, recommendations, and guidelines
• Planning and conducting security solution tests
• Providing technical support and maintenance services
• Providing technical advice and participating in client meetings (remote and on-site)
• Conducting training and workshops for company employees, partners, and clients
• Automating security processes (e.g., in SOAR environments)
• Participating in industry events and representing the company
