File Transmission Technical Specialist

Verita HR is an international company providing recruitment support within the Fintech, Finance and Banking market in EMEA. The team is responsible for a global file transfer platform used by key business systems and external partners at a lead international bank.

• Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and IBM Connect:Direct (C:D) on Linux or Windows platforms
• Familiarity with IBM Secure Proxy and External Authentication Server is an advantage
• Solid understanding of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2) and encryption mechanisms
• Knowledge of cryptography and key management (SSL/TLS, SSH, PGP/GPG, Venafi)
• Strong troubleshooting capability across distributed systems and network layers
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem, Request Management)
• Basic scripting or automation experience (Shell, PowerShell, Python) is an advantage

Nice to have:

• Awareness of cybersecurity and compliance principles (access management, audit evidence, patching, etc.)
• Certifications in IBM Sterling or equivalent technologies
• Background in supporting large-scale, global production environments

• Handle client requests and configuration changes for file transfer services, including mailbox setup, routing, partner onboarding and certificate lifecycle
• Troubleshoot transfer failures, performance and connectivity issues, supporting incident and problem management with root cause analysis
• Keep documentation, configuration records and audit evidence up to date to meet internal and regulatory requirements
• Support monitoring, health checks and disaster recovery testing to ensure reliability and availability
• Share knowledge and help onboard new team members across global teams
• Take part in planned weekend maintenance for upgrades, patching and controlled production changes
• Work closely with engineering, infrastructure and business teams worldwide to resolve issues and maintain secure file transfers
• Contribute to process improvements, automation and smoother client onboarding

B2B contract. Recruitment process includes phone screen, technical test, and online meeting with hiring managers. Hybrid work: 6 days per month from the office in Cracow.
