Data Project Manager

Verita HR is an international company providing recruitment support within Fintech, Finance and Banking markets in EMEA. The Project Manager will play an important role in shaping the organisation’s data strategy, focusing on initiatives that reduce risk, simplify data architecture, and introduce automated controls supporting compliance and operational stability. The role involves leading the end-to-end delivery of complex projects such as strategic tooling implementations, data migration initiatives, and pilots related to processing records, key to the broader data management roadmap.

• Excellent knowledge of financial institutions, with a strong focus on regulatory deliveries
• Exceptional understanding of data management, privacy and governance (preferable)
• Extensive project management skills, with a proven track record of managing large and complex global projects in a change environment
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Manager role
• Strong stakeholder management experience, from ExCo level to analysts, with a talent for impactful communication
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and on budget, achieving stated business outcomes with strong attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach
• Experience applying Agile methodologies in project and product development
• Agile certification(s) advantageous (e.g., SAFe)
• Impeccable written, verbal and presentation skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, JIRA, and Confluence

• Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, escalating key issues when needed to keep delivery aligned with programme priorities
• Monitor budgets, resource allocation and overall delivery, flagging potential challenges early and coordinating support where required
• Track project progress against milestones and OKRs, providing clear updates on status, risks and dependencies using agreed tools and dashboards
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying best practices to strengthen delivery quality and consistency
• Ensure projects stay aligned with the broader strategic vision while sharing insights that support programme-wide outcomes

Hybrid work: 2 days per week from the office in Cracow
