Automation Engineer

Mindbox is a tech-driven company connecting top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. The role is part of a global engineering team focused on delivering automation solutions for safe and rapid software deployments.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience delivering Ansible-based automation into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ownership mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice to have:

• Experience with IT services underpinned by vendor software.
• Knowledge of File Transmission products (e.g., IBM SFG/SSP/SEAS/CD), Mainframe (z/OS) workflows, or BMC Control-M.
• Understanding of compliance and risk management in financial services.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Design and implement performant and resilient automation solutions for deployment processes.
• Apply security-by-default principles, including secrets management, least privilege, and vulnerability management.
• Monitor and optimize process performance to ensure scalability and resilience.
• Automate both processes and their testing to guarantee reliability.
