Lead Backend (Scala) Engineer

N-iX is looking for a Lead Backend (Scala) Engineer to join their team. Their customer is the European online car market, with over 30 million monthly users and a presence in 18 countries.

• At least 6+ years of hands-on coding experience
• Strong expertise with Scala is a must
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with Object-Oriented/Functional Programming
• Experience in designing fast, scalable, and responsive APIs
• Experience developing cloud-native apps using AWS
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL (DDB) databases
• Experience with Kafka
• Good communication skills (fluent English, at least Upper-Intermediate)
