Backend Developer (Node.js)

Kyotu Technology is a boutique software house based in Wrocław and Warsaw, working fully remotely or in hybrid mode across Poland. We focus on long-term, high-quality engineering and building complex, production-grade systems with real business impact.

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience in building backend services and REST APIs
• Experience working with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Experience with system integrations and APIs
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• High level of independence and ownership
• Good communication skills and team orientation
• Polish language (project context)

Nice to have:

• Experience with backend frameworks (e.g. NestJS)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Experience with caching (e.g. Redis)
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with testing (unit, integration)
• Experience with frontend technologies (e.g. React, Next.js, Angular, Vue)

• Developing modern backend systems, APIs, and integrations across various domains
• Working with scalable services and production-grade systems
• Working on different types of backend services depending on the project
• Emphasizing flexibility, solid fundamentals, and a strong engineering mindset
