Mid Java Developer

The Live Data Services team gathers events for over 30 sports and provides them to clients. • Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing backend solutions in Java
• Ability to write clean, well-crafted, and tested code (XP, TDD)
• Familiarity with Spring Framework
• Agile mindset focusing on delivering working software, collaboration, and improvement
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated and self-driven
• Team player, able to work with new teams
• Flexible to adapt to changing priorities and able to work with tight deadlines
• Committed to upholding the highest professional work standards and ethics

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
• Experience in SQL, especially MySQL, and NoSQL
• Experience with cloud-based applications and microservices (AWS, Gitlab CI)

• Design, develop, test, build and deploy new applications or enhancements to existing applications
• Work with other technical staff to understand problems, develop specifications and resolve them
• Take part in the constant challenge to create a maintainable, well-designed architecture that stands up to the future
