Software Engineer (Java, with German)

• Technical degree and solid foundations in software engineering
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience working with Java/JVM-based technologies
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Maven and Git
• Ability to write unit tests (JUnit, Mockito)
• Experience with relational (MS SQL/Oracle) or non-relational (Redis/MongoDB) databases
• Practical experience with CI/CD and version control systems
• Communicative English and German (min. B1)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes

• Designing, developing and implementing backend applications using Java and modern JVM technologies
• Creating solutions based on good engineering practices (Clean Code, SOLID, TDD, DDD)
• Integrating applications with components deployed in Kubernetes environments
• Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Working in agile, international teams and contributing to shared best practices
• Participating in architecture design and code reviews
• Supporting less-experienced engineers and sharing knowledge within the team
